Mrs. Janice Smith, age 52 a resident of Morton passed away on Monday October 7, 2013 at her residence. Graveside service was held at 2:00 pm October 10, 2013 at the Gulde Cemetery. Rev. Paul Smith officiated the service. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Mrs. Janice was born on June 10, 1961 in Hinds County. Janice loved her family very much and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is preceded in death by her father, L. T. Millings; husband, Teddy Smith Sr.; daughter, Sharon Ann Smith.
She is survived by her mother, Genita Faye Millis Millings; daughter, Stacy Karabelen of Natchez; son, John Smith of Meadville; son Teddy Smith Jr. of Morton; sister, Wanda Haven of Pelahatchie; brothers, Shaun Millings of Pelahatchie and Teddy Ray Millings of Pelahatchie; grandchildren, Tyler and Cain Smith, Trent and Alyssa Delozier, Ethan Smith, Brock Smith, Brayden Wilson, and a host of friends.
