Janie Boyles

Janie Marguerite Boyles, age 92, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away April 10, 2021 at her home in Brandon, MS. A graveside service will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Lakewood Memorial Park South in Jackson, MS. Rev. Ken Anderson will officiate the services.

Miss Boyles was born on December 28, 1928 in Smith County to Hughie Boyles and Martha Jane Thomas “Dutch” Boyles. She worked as a schoolteacher, bookkeeper and for Bell South Telephone Company in conversion. She was an artist enjoying needle work and painting. Miss Boyles was a member of Parkway Baptist Church in Clinton, MS. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Miss Boyles was preceded in death by her parents, Hughie Boyles and Martha Jane Thomas “Dutch” Boyles and her sister, Mary Russell.

Miss Boyles is survived by her “adopted sister”, Wilda Laird, many other cousins and a host of friends.
