Jannett Louise Roach went to be with her Lord on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 3 pm at Briar Hill Baptist Church, Florence, MS. Visitation will begin at 1:30 pm Wednesday at the Church.
Jannett Louise Bullock was born on June 5, 1942 in McComb, MS to the late Frank Louis and Evelyn McIntosh Bullock. She was a graduate of Fernwood High School. She had been a resident of Pearl, MS for ten years. She retired in 2004 from Data Plex as account manager after 22 years of service. She was a member of the Auxiliary of The Gideon’s International and had served in various leadership roles of the State Gideon’s International. She never met a stranger, was an avid reader, and loved the Lord with all her heart. She also loved her grandchildren and spending time with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Frances Golman and Betty McBee.
Survivors include her husband, William Harold Roach of Pearl, MS; two children, Connie Wren of Clinton and Steve Wren and his wife Anita of Madison, MS; two step children, Patricia Roach of Atlanta, GA and Harold Roach, Jr. and his wife, Susan of Statesboro, GA; a sister Ann Smith of Brandon, MS; and three grandchildren, Shelby Wren, Maggie Wren, and Alex Roach.
