Jannye Irene Perkins

Jannye Gully Perkins, age 91, of Brandon, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at The Nichols Center in Madison.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 2, 2019 at 2:00pm from Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with visitation starting at 1:00pm until service time. Interment will follow in Brandon Memorial Gardens.

Jannye was born December 28, 1927 in Nanih Waiya, MS to the late John Henry Gully and Ludie Fulton Gully. She worked as a Beautician and was a charter member of Brandon Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney O’Neal Perkins; siblings, John Henry Gully, Charles Gully, and Jimmy Gully; sister-in-law, Eloise Gully.

Jannye is survived by her children, Charles Wayne Perkins (Shelia) of Madison, MS and Rebecca Jayne Perkins- Brown (David) of Chelsea, AL; brother, J.W. Gully; sisters-in-law, Zelda Gully, Pat Gully, and Judy Webb; grandchildren, Jason Perkins and Marcee Messer (Cory); great-grandchildren, Drake Messer, Molly Messer, Anna Grace Perkins, and Jake Perkins, other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to Brandon Baptist Church Building Fund, 100 Brandon Baptist Church Drive, Brandon, MS 39042.
