Jason Harris

Mr. Jason Harold Harris was born January 10, 1984 and passed away April 20, 2019 at the age of 35.

Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the Clear Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Tanner, Rev. Jeff Martin, and Rev. Chris Spence officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Monday, April 22, 2019 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the services at the church on Tuesday.

Jason was a lifetime resident of this area and will be remembered for his strong work ethic as a mechanic in the small engine repair industry. He had a strong passion for horseback riding, four-wheeler riding, and motorbike riding. He was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Clarence and Annie Mae Harris of Lawrence, and his maternal grandparents: Clivie and Sadie Wood of Bay Springs.

Survivors include his parents: Clarence and Linda Harris of Lawrence; two sisters: Lynn (Steven) Williamson of Lawrence and Debby (George) Williams of Newton; two nieces: Angie (Andy) Cagel of West Point and Brittany (David) Torrence of Pineville; two nephews: Job Williamson of Lawrence; and Zack Hammons of Cleveland; one great-nephew: Hunter Torrence of Pineville; a special companion: Kimberly Delk and two sons: Tristan and Cameron Delk, all of Lawrence.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Grammer, Job Williamson, Zack Hammons, David Torrence, Floyd Harris, Tristan Delk, and Cameron Delk.

Honorary Pallbearers will be George Williams and Steven Williamson.
