VISITATION: 5-8 PM TUESDAY AND NOON ON WEDNESDAY
Jason Davis McAdory, 16, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer. Visitation is 5-8 pm Tuesday and 12 noon on Wednesday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services are 2 pm Wednesday at the funeral home with burial in New Brandon Cemetery. Dr. Keith Grubbs and Rev. Ricky Callaway will officiate.
Jason was a native of Michigan and a longtime resident of Rankin and Simpson County. He was a member of Park Place Baptist Church in Pearl and attended Park Place Christian Academy where he was a member of the football team. Jason was the proud owner of his own business, Yu-Gi-Oh Cards and Knife Shop.
Jason was a very caring and loving person who never wavered in his faith during his two year illness. He never became angry or asked, “Why me Lord”, no matter how bad he might have been feeling. Jason always had the words, “I Love You” to say each and ever day and was a great inspiration to his family and friends.
Survivors include his parents, Joe and Kathy McAdory of Braxton; sisters, Delinda Tubby of Philadelphia, Lynn Betz of Houston, TX and Buffy McAdory of Mobile, Alabama; brothers, Nathan Smith of Byram and Jody McAdory of Phoenix, Arizona; maternal grandparents, Bennie and Mary Goodin of Emmett, Michigan; maternal great grandmother, Pennsylvania Clark of Macon, MS.
Paternal grandparents, Jettie and Holman McAdory preceded him in death.
