Zelphia “Jean” Jeanette Ricca, age 64 of Brandon, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021, at her home.

A Celebration of Life will be at John and Kim’s Home on Monday, November 1, 2021, 2:00pm until 4:00pm. Please direct any questions to John at 678-516-1036.

She was born in West Liberty, KY on February 2, 1957, to the late James Luther Harvey and Elmae Allen Harvey.

Mom, Mamaw Jean, MeeMaw, and Mamaw Bean as she was known to her family and friends was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Jean never met a stranger and would strike up a conversation with anyone she met anywhere anytime. She had a green thumb and was able to bring plants back to life and make them flourish and shared her tips and secrets with others. Jean loved animals of all kinds. Jean was always a positive person, always willing to help others, and never said and ill word about anyone. She will be truly missed in the lives of her family and friends and leaves a void that cannot be filled.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jason Harvey; and husband, John Ricca.

Jean is survived by her two sons, John (Kim) Robinson and Christopher (Alex) Robinson; six grandchildren, Andrew (Mandi) Robinson, Amber (James) Keeling, Scarlett Robinson, Mason Barnes, Landon Barnes, and Caleb Harvey; one great-granddaughter, Lara Keeling; brother, James “Hunky” (Kathy) Harvey; her twin sister, Debby Harvey; and countless other family and friends.
