FUNERAL SERVICES will be conducted at 1pm Wednesday February 6, 2013 from the chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery.
NO GRAVESIDE SERVICES, the family will remain at the funeral home to visit with friends
VISITATION will be held from 10am till 1pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Jeanne Hunt Wolverton, age 83, a resident of Annapolis, MD, formerly of Forest, MS died Saturday February 2, 2013 at Bay Ridge Nursing Home following an extended illness.
Mrs. Wolverton was born September 18, 1929 to David Q. Hunt and Mary Love Hunt. She attended the Mississippi University for Women. Later she worked as a bookkeeper at Bradley’s Grocery Store in Forest with her former husband Bradley Wolverton until her retirement in 1981. She was a member of the Forest Presbyterian Church and later the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Forest. In her later years, she lived in Queen Creek,AZ and later moved to Crofton, MD near her sons Bob and Andy respectively.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters; Margaret Richardson, Lorraine Wilkins and Dorothy Shannon.
Mrs. Wolverton is survived by her two sons, Andy Wolverton (Cindy) of Crofton, MD and Bob Wolverton (Lynda) of Richland Hills, TX. She is also survived by two grandchildren Erin Roston and Travis Wolverton; two great-grandchildren, Jack Roston and Sarah Drew.
