Jeffery Bell

A lifelong resident of Scott County, Jeffery Davis Bell was born July 2, 1954 to his parents Elbert and Mary Jane Bassett Bell, who precede him in death.  He passed away at his home in the Clifton community May 4, 2020 at the age of 65. Jeff was a mechanic by trade, having been employed with Bell’s Auto in Forest. He was an avid outdoorsmen who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a Christian by faith, affiliated with the Clifton Baptist Church.

He is survived by two children: Travis Bell of Tupelo and Amber Bell of Pearl; two grandchildren: one grandson: Kaesyn Bell and one granddaughter: Kaelynne Bell; one brother: Richard Bell of Forest and two sisters: Doris (David) Robinson of Forest and Katie (John) Payne of Washington State and a number of nieces and nephews.

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and six brothers.

On Thursday, May 7, 2020, the family gathered for a private visiation at the funeral home.

Following the visiation, interment was made in the Clifton Baptist Cemetery.

Ott & Lee Funeral Home, 295 East First St., Forest, served the Bell family.
