Funeral services will be Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11:00am at Ott and Lee Funeral Home, Brandon.

Visitation will be Friday, January 25, 2019 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home, Brandon, and starting at 10:00am Saturday.

Jeffrey Thomas Brand, age 36, of Brandon, MS, passed away unexpectedly on January 20, 2019, from complications of injuries sustained in an automobile accident earlier that day.  Jeffrey was born on September 24, 1982, to Gregory Williams Brand and Linda Hauer Wiggins.

Jeffrey’s many friends knew him for his sensitivity, his infectious smile, and his care for others.  He particularly loved all sports, cats, and was a die-hard fan of the New Orleans Saints.  He was an avid reader, and his favorite author was David Baldacci.

He is survived by his parents, his stepfather, Todd Wiggins; his brother, Jason, who was always one of his best friends; his uncles, Sam Brand and Marc Brand; his uncles, Steve Hauer and Scott Hauer; his maternal grandmother, Barbara Hauer; and by numerous cousins and friends.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sam and Audrey Brand and Homer R. Hauer.

A visitation will be held at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon on Friday, January 25, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.  A visitation will begin on Saturday at 10:00 am, to be followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Salvation Army, or to a charity of your choice.
