Jenny Rebecca Roberts Brandon, MS
Jenny Rebecca Roberts, 39, passed away on November 11, 2011, at River Oaks Hospital in Flowood. Visitation will begin at 10 am Tuesday at St. Marks United Methodist Church in Brandon until the 11am Memorial service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon.
Jenny graduated in 1990 from Biloxi High School. She also graduated from the University of Mississippi and UMC School of Nursing and she was currently in graduate school at UMC for her Nurse Practitioner Degree. She was most proud of being inducted in April to the International Honor Society of Nursing-Sigma Theta Tau. Jenny worked at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Fairview for a number of years.
Survivors include her mother, Brenda D. Roberts; father and his wife, Dr. William E. Roberts and Nicole; sister and brother-in-law, Karen Roberts and Ali Nabavi; uncle, Col. Thomas E. Roberts (Claudette); niece, Megan Roberts; aunt, Carol D. Hollis. She is also survived by Eddie Simmons, Sonya Carmichael, Morgan and Makenzie. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Harold C. Duke and grandparents, William S. Roberts, Major and Jewel Roberts, RN.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to CARA or Mississippi Animal Rescue League.
