Jerry Nolan Cox, 84, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024. Graveside services were 1pm Friday, November 22, 2024, at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl. Visitation was 11am until 12:30pm Friday at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Rev. Gary Harper officiated. 

Jerry was born on March 20, 1940, in Lawrence County, to Max Cox and Lavonia Kimbrell Cox.

Survivors include his son, Daryel Cox and his wife Sonya; son, Shine Cox and his wife Natalie; son, Mike Cox; sisters, Patsy Abernathy, Carolyn Jennings and Diane Sullivan; eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Lavonia Cox; sister, Jackie Nickell; and brothers, Bobby Cox and Wayne Cox.
