GRAVESIDE SERVICES AT 1:30 PM FRIDAY, JANUARY 20, 2012 AT NATCHEZ NATIONAL CEMETERY

VISIT: 5-8 PM THURSDAY AT OTT AND LEE IN BRANDON

Jerry Lynn Ferguson, 63, passed away Friday, January 13, 2012 at the V. A. Medical Center in Jackson. Graveside services are 1:30 pm Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Natchez National Cemetery in Natchez. Rev. Steven Sance will officiate.Visitation is 5-8 pm Thursday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon.

Jerry was a native of Hinds County and had lived in Virginia and Florida before moving back to Jackson and Pearl. He attended Antioch Baptist Church in Pearl.
Jerry was a Vietnam Army Veteran and had also served in the MS National Guard.
While living in Virginia, he served as a Deputy Sherriff and worked in road maintenance in Florida. Jerry favorite pastimes included being with his family and fishing. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and never met a stranger.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Cay Ferguson of Pearl; daughters, Joann Adcock (Richard) of Lavergne, TN, Becky Thrash (Doyle) of Pearl and Barbara Farley (Tommy) of Pearl; sister, Marge Ann Bellue (Kenny) of Birmingham; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, James M. and Ruby Lee Ferguson; son, Joey Hudson; twin brother, Gary Lee Ferguson; brother, Jim Ferguson and 2 grandchildren, Jonathan Thrash and Karen Renee’ Bond.
