Jerry Fortenberry

Jerry Wayne Fortenberry, age 58, a resident of Forest died Wednesday March 19, 2014 in Forest following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10am Friday March 21, 2014 from the chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest with interment in the Pea Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5pm-8pm Thursday March 20, 2014. Rev. Chris Dupree will officiate.
Mr. Fortenberry was born in Forest on May 8, 1955, where he resided until his passing. He served in the Mississippi National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife; Kari Brent Fortenberry, his mother; Helen B. Fortenberry both of Forest, 2 children: Jessica Fortenberry (fiance’ Cliff Stokes) and Lacy Fortenberry, 2 brothers: Ricky Fortenberry and William Lee Fortenberry. He is also survived by 1 grandchild.
