Jerry Lynn Holloway, 71, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation is 2 pm Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with services to follow at 4 pm Wednesday in the chapel. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl.

Jerry was a native of Mathiston, MS and a longtime resident of Pearl. He retired from the U. S. Postal Service and Federal Express after many years of service. Jerry attended Park Place Baptist Church in Pearl and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great- grandfather. One of his favorite times was watching his children and grandchildren play sports or any other activity they were involved in.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Dorothy Holloway of Pearl; daughter, Sherry Lynn Holloway Hollis Smith (Wendell) of Brookhaven; son, Shane Holloway (Kim) of Brandon; brother, Lee Holloway of Georgia; sister, Opal Henry of Westpoint; grandchildren, Jonathan Hollis (Heather), Anna Lynn Hollis, Zachary Holloway, Mary Katharine Holloway, Jacob Holloway; step-grandchild, Mason Smith; great- grandchildren, Levi Hollis, Dean Hollis and a number of nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy T. and Carrie Irene White Holloway; brothers, Roy and Virgil Holloway.
