Jerry C. Lowery, 80, joined his Heavenly Savior on January 1, 2023.  He passed away at his home.  A Memorial service will be 6pm Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with visitation starting at 5pm.

Mr. Lowery was born in Greenville, MS, on June 4, 1942, to Bert Lowery and Myrtie Travis Lowery.  He retired from Delta after many years of service, he served at the ticket counter and at the terminals.  He was a charter member of Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon, MS.  Jerry loved to bowl, play golf and watch college football.  He also played tennis as a young man.

Survivors include his wife, Janie Lowery; children, Tim (Melanie) Lowery of Pearl, MS, Steve Lowery of Brandon, MS, Billy (Chris) Hudson, Jr. of Pearl, MS; Mike Hudson of Brandon, MS, and Lisa Gay Hudson of Oregon; sister, Brenda (Steve) Dunaway of Alabama; grandchildren, McKenzie Lowery, Billy Hudson, III, Heather Tiblier, and Layne Baker; great grandchildren, Billy Gage Hudson and Raylan Earl Hudson.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Linda.
