Mr. Jerry Vinzant
April 20, 1942 — November 10, 2017
Mr. Jerry Lee Vinzant, age 75 passed away at his residence Friday, November 10, 2017. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 2:00 pm from the Ott and Lee Chapel in Morton with Bro. Gary Wyatt to officiate the service.
Jerry was born April 30, 1942 in Brandon, MS to his parents Virlon and Beatrice Huff Vinzant. Jerry was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. He was self-employed truck driver which he loved driving very much. He loved being a jokester, but more than anything he dearly loved his family and especially his children.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Virlon Vinzant and Beatrice Vinzant Berg; and his brother, John Vinzant.
Jerry is survived by his daughters, Veronica Vinzant of Flora, Shoshanna Poor of Hillsboro; his sons, Jay (Kayla) Vinzant of Morton and Jacob (Rebecca) Vinzant of Pearl; his sister, Ann (Thad) Shiers of Archibald, LA; his brother, Charles (Cyndy) Berg of Pearl; his nieces, Cindy Kilgore and Erica Berg; and his nephews, Mark Shiers and Mike Shiers; a host of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Blair Batson Hospital in Jackson, MS.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee in Morton.
