Jesse Lane Hibbard, 39, passed away Mon. Dec. 5, 2016 at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Wed. Dec. 7, 2016 from 5pm-8pm and on Thurs. Dec. 8, 2016 from 11am-12:45pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 1pm on Thurs. Dec. 8, 2016 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.
Jesse was born in Monroe, LA and has been a resident of Brandon, MS since 1986. He was a Christian in his faith and attended Brandon Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. Jesse enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching Fox News Channel and all kinds of sports. Most of all he was a very loving family man, a friend to many, and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Stacey Hibbard; two children, Audrey Lane Hibbard and Perry Laurel Hibbard; parents, David and Merinda Jordan; two sisters, Melissa Ann Shatley (Mark) and Amanda Faye Yarbrough (Stephen); brother, Jason Nicholas Hibbard (Rebekah); mother in law, Sherry Perry; paternal grandparents, Clara and Jerry Sikes; maternal grandfather in law, Don McNeil and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Jesse is preceded in death by his son, Dawson Lane Hibbard; maternal grandparents, Alton and Francis Whittington; paternal grandparents, Sam and Ernestine Jordan and maternal grandmother in law, Ouida McNeil.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brandon Baptist Church Children’s Building Fund at 100 Brandon Baptist Dr. Brandon, MS 39042.
