Jessica Renee' Peden San Francisco, CA Jessica Renee' Peden went home to be with the Lord on September 2nd. Jessica was born in Jackson, MS, on September 4th, 1973, to William Terry Peden and Sharon Long Peden Cooksey. She is survived by her mother, Sharon Cooksey, step-father Jerry Cooksey, son Anthony and sisters Sarah Cooksey and Teresa Cooksey Howe (Shawn), niece Jolie and nephews Zachary and Grady Howe. Jess is also survived by her uncles Dannye (Sharon) Long and Joe (Dot) Long and a large extended family. Jess is preceded in death by her father and her grandparents. Jessica had a smile for all, never met a stranger and "Death does hide, But not divide: You are but on Christ's other side! You are with Christ, and Christ with me; In Christ united, still are we." Services are scheduled for Monday, September 22nd at 11:00 AM at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Family and friends will gather on Sunday afternoon from 3pm until 6pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a Youth Scholarship Fund at Eureka Baptist Church in Memory of Jess, P.O. Box 34, Sandhill, MS 39161.
