Jessie Jenene Davis

Jessie Jenene (Jean) Parker Davis passed away November 18, 2024, in Brandon, MS. Jean was born April 7, 1937, to Jack and Coneil Parker in Lawrence, MS.

She graduated from Newton High School. She married William Thomas (Tommy) Davis of Lake, MS on October 22, 1955.

Jean was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Pearl, MS. She was the owner of Jenene’s Bridal Registry in Pearl and enjoyed helping new brides and grooms as they started their next step in life.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents, husband Tommy Davis, sisters Orene Robinson and Christine Posey, brothers Clark, Cecil, Howard, Dewey and Freddie Parker, in-laws Loyce and Ella Bea Davis and Sister-in-law Peggy Jones.

She is survived by her daughters, Melba (Mike) Nipper of Brandon, MS and Debra (Reggie) McKee of DeCalb, MS and son Bill (Colette) of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. Her grandchildren Jessica (Ben) Stetson, Wendy (Nelson) Byrd, Shelia (Heath) Cooley, Gabriel Davis, Annabella Davis and Gabriella Davis. Her Great-Grandchildren Wyatt Stetson, Andee Stetson, Shelton Byrd, Mahaley Byrd, Ellis Byrd, Dade Cooley, Matt Cooley and Josh Cooley. She is also survived by her brother Artis (Barbara) Parker, brothers-in-law John Jones and Don (Helen) Davis and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, who she loved very much.

Funeral services will begin at 1pm in the chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will start at 11:30am prior. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.

Pallbearers will be Mike Nipper, Ben Stetson, Wyatt Stetson, Nelson Byrd, Shelton Byrd, Bill Davis, and Gabriel Davis.
