J.W. Clark, age 61, died Saturday October 12, 2013 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson following a brief illness.
Graveside services were held at 1pm Monday at Antioch-Steele Cemetery. Elder George Gardner officiated. Visitation was held from 3pm-5pm Sunday October 13, 2013. Funeral services provided by Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Forest.
J.W. was born in Forest, MS on August 24, 1952 to his parents Malcolm Clark and Irma Ruth Crimm Clark. He was a member of Forest Baptist Church. He had retired from Spaceway Oil Company as a truck driver. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his son Heath Clark (Wendy) of Lake, a step-daughter Lauren Estes Johnson (Benji) of Vicksburg; 1 sister Patty Clark King (Russell) of Terry, 2 brothers Thomas Clark (Donna) and Wade Clark all of Forest. He also leaves behind 2 grandchildren; Jordan Adcox and Brayden Clark.
Pallbearers were Russell King, Frank Sturrup, Bobby Latham, Joe Townsend, James Barber and Roger Walters. Honorary Pallbearers were Coach Gary Risher and Herbert Windham.
