FUNERAL SERVICES for JEWEL GRACE TREST, age 74, a resident of Forest will be conducted at 2pm Saturday January 26, 2013 from the STEELE BAPTIST CHURCH with in Interment in the Antioch-Steele Cemetery
VISITATION will be held from 5pm-8pm Friday January 25,2013 at OTT & LEE Funeral Home in Forest and a second visitation will be held from 1pm-1:45pm Saturday at STEELE BAPTIST CHURCH prior to the service.
Jewel Trest, age 74, a resident of Forest, died Wednesday January 23, 2013 following an extended illness.
She was born in Jones County on October 24, 1938 to Hugh Dement and Ethel Landrum Dement. She was a homemaker and a member of Steele Baptist Church in Forest.
Mrs. Trest was preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter, Karem Trest McNeil.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Trest, a son, Jerry Glenn Trest and Julia Ann Trest all of Forest. She is also survived by 7 sisters, Mary Ann Snellgrobe, Daisy Mae McCloud, Myrtle Moore, Ellen Rose, Dorothy Brand, Norma Majure and Stella Montgomery; 3 brothers, Pat Dement, Mike Dement and Thomas Dement. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
