Jill Wall

Jill G. Wall, 63, a resident of Brandon, MS went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 5, 2018. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 9-11 am at Meadow Grove Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11 am following Visitation. Interment will be at 3 pm Wednesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Meridian, MS.

Jill was born in Meridian, MS on September 12, 1954 to James O. Gentry and Jean Mitcham Gentry. She was married to Bruce Wall and was an active member of Meadow Grove Baptist Church. She was a teacher for 35 years and impacted the lives of hundreds of students. She loved her family very much and spending time with her children and grandchildren brought her great joy. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jill was preceded in death by her father, James O. Gentry.

Jill is survived by her mother Jean Gentry; her husband of 43 years, Bruce Wall; children, Clayton Young (Rachel) Wall, Robert Bryan (Lauren) Wall, Patrick Aaron Wall, and Allison Jill (Nate) Young; sisters, Gaylen (Steve) Richardson and Robin (Buddy) Petty; brother, Jimmy (Linda) Gentry; grandchildren, Brylee Wall, Avery Wall, James Wall, Ben Wall, Anna Wall, Landon Young and Mallory Young; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
