Jimmie Dee Manning Lingle

Jimmie Dee Manning Lingle, 90, passed away on Wed. Jan. 24, 2024, at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Fri. Jan. 26, 2024 from 5pm-7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS and on Sat. Jan. 27, 2024 from 2pm-3pm at Springfield Baptist Church in Morton, MS. Funeral Services are 3pm on Sat. Jan. 27, 2024 at Springfield Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Springfield Cemetery.

Mrs. Lingle was born on April 26, 1933, in Morton, MS to the late James Wardell Manning and Dora Lee Cooper Manning. She was a lifelong member of Springfield Baptist Church in Morton, MS.

She is survived by her son, Richard M. Lingle (Naomi); grandchildren, Ethan Manning Lingle and Mary Ellen “Elle” Lingle; sister, Virgie Opal Manning King (Eddie) and her brother-in-law, Gene Gray. Mrs. Lingle is also preceded in death by her husband, Edmund C. “Ed” Lingle; grandson, Zachary Lee Koestler and her siblings, Gertrude Pierce (Hamp), Maggie Lee Willingham (Homer), Mary Ann Manning Gray and James Truman Manning (Zell).
