Jimmy Ray Clark, 59, of Raleigh, MS passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, November 27, 2023. Mr. Clark was born February 4, 1964 to Jimmy Lee Clark and Mildred Dickerson in Laurel, MS.
Mr. Clark was an avid fisherman in his free time, and was a maintenance man by trade for 20 years and took pride in his work.
Jimmy was a 25 year resident of Raleigh, MS where he lived with his loving wife, Marlene Copeland Clark. He is survived by his wife, his step-father, Wayne Dickerson; two brothers, Mike Clark (Vickie) and Shannon Dickerson (Heather); son, Kyle Clark of Raleigh; daughter, Sharlynn Clark of Texas, Step-son, Shane Mathis of Raleigh, and Step-daughter, Dana Mathis of Raleigh. Mr. Clark leaves behind 6 grandchildren: A'aliyah Mathis, Lexie Mathis, Brentley Mathis, Daniel Joy, Laykin Jones, and Lauryn Jones; and one great-grandchild, Ma'aliyah Mathis.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Lee Clark and Mildred Dickerson, his sister, Angela Dickerson.
A visitation will be held Thursday, November 30 from 11-2PM at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest, followed by a graveside service at 2:PM at New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery located at 2387 Johnson Town Rd, Walnut Grove, MS.
Pallbearers will be: Chabelo Arreguin, Tommy Sanderson, Sergio Arreguin, and Jason Joiner.
