Mr. Jimmy DeMarcay, Jr., age 62, a resident of Morton passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, LA.  Visitation will be held 1pm-4pm Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.  There will be NO funeral service.  Ott and Lee in Morton is honored to serve the DeMarcay family.

Mr. Demarcay was born in Lafayette, LA on September 13, 1961.  He was born and raised in LA and worked offshore for many years.  In 1983 he married the love of his life, Connie Maria Sumrall.  Jimmy went to work for Koch Foods processing plant and worked there for 20 years and has been at the prepared plant for 12 years.  The workers at Koch Food was his family away from home and he loved them dearly.  He loved being outdoors deer hunting and fishing when not at work.  

He is preceded in death by his mother, Trudy Fuselier.

He is survived by his loving wife, Connie Maria Sumrall DeMarcay of Morton; his father, Jimmy DeMarcay, Sr.; children, Chris Sumrall of Calhoun City and Jesse Evans of AL; siblings, Juanita Babineauz (Tommy) of LA, Artie DeMarcay of LA, Michael DeMarcay of LA and Bryan DeMarcay of LA; sister-in-law, Coetta Sumrall Miller of Maryland; brother-in-law, Johnny Sumrall of Morton and a host of friends.
