Mr. Jimmy Harold House, age 84, a resident of Jackson passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at his residence. His visitation was held 5-8pm Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Service was held 1pm Friday, August 3, 2012 at Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in the Morton City Cemetery. Rev. Tal Vardaman and Rev. Jerry Holmes officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Morton.
Mr. House was born in Monroe County on December 24, 1927. He was a member of Line Creek Baptist Church in Morton. Mr. House loved life and loved telling jokes. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
Preceded in death by his parents, Talmadge House and Berma Golden; wife, Dot House; son, Bobby House and brothers, John & Wesley House.
Survivors are his children, Beverly H. Frost of Woodstock, GA, Nancy H. Brown (Mark) of Forest and Tim House (Diane) of Flowood; sister, Dot Simpson of Morton; brothers, Millard Frazier of Clinton and David "Van" Frazier (Louise) of Choctaw, OK; 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and a large host of family and friends.
Pallbearers were Kenny Frost, Mark Brown, Bradley House, Jason Weltlich, Joey Delbeck and Drew Casterline.
