Jimmy Ray Bowman

Mr. Jimmy Ray Bowman of Pelahatchie, age 70 passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024 at his home. There will be a memorial service at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Jimmy was born in Rankin County on July 19, 1953. He loved cooking for his grandkids breakfast, gardening and being outdoors. Jimmy would make gadgets of different kinds and give to his grandkids. He loved his family and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Bowman and Dorothy Jean Stewart Hendrick; brothers, John, Frank and Spencer Bowman and grandchild, Kori Kilgore.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Bowman of Pelahatchie; children Steve Ray Bowman of Pelahatchie and Christina Nicole Bowman of Pelahatchie; grandchildren, Rhealyn Bowman, Adrianna Skye Bowman, Casen Lewis Ray Kilgore and Tori Lane Kilgore.
