Jimmy Wright Smith, 73, passed away July 3, 2017. Services are 11am Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Lake Harbor Baptist Church in Sandhill, MS, with visitation starting at 10am. Interment will follow in Florence Cemetery.
Mr. Smith loved being outdoors and playing folk music with his friends in Mountain View, AR. He was a member of Lake Harbor Bapt. Church and he retired from MDOT.
Survivors include his son, Jimmy D. Smith (Mary) of Fort Mohave, AZ; brothers, John T. Smith of Calico Rock, AR and Jerry Smith of Waynesboro, MS; grandchildren, Evan Smith and Samantha Kort (Casey); great grandchildren, Chandler and Aubrey Kort. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Smith and Thelma Lowther Smith and a sister, Joan Chaney.
