Jimmy Thornton

Jimmy Ray Thornton, age 53, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020.

Due to the social circumstances this will be private family services.

Mr. Thornton was a native of Delhi, LA. He was the son of Homer Thornton and Mary Brekeen Thornton. He was married to Bridget Keeney Thornton. He worked for Allstar Repossession and Recovery many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching LSU and was a Jimmy Johnson fan. He loved entertaining his family, friends while cooking, grilling and playing with the fur babies. He loved his family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Mr. Thornton was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Thornton and Mary Brekeen Thornton.

Mr. Thornton is survived by his wife of 17 years, Bridget Keeney Thornton; his children, Brandon Thornton, Paige Barton (Coty), Cody Keeney (Sylvia) and Kristy Thornton; sisters, Penny Kennedy (Mark) and Cindy Cooksey; brother, Guy Thornton; grandchildren, Kynslee Barton, Stetson Barton and Aubriana Keeney; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
