Mrs. Jo Ann Shoemaker, age 69 met her Savior face to face on Saturday, November 27, 2021.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 5pm-8pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.  Services will be held 11am Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Leesburg Church of Christ Cemetery.  Bro. Larry Hunt and Bro. John White will officiate the services.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mrs. Shoemaker was born in Smith County on July 13, 1952.  She loved the Lord and reading her Bible.  Jo Ann enjoyed cooking and having all her family together to fellowship and eat.  She loved her family very much and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Ainsworth and Mary Grace Webb Ainsworth; daughter, Brandy Shoemaker Thomas; siblings, David Bell, Melissa Ainsworth Lyons, Bob White, David, Wayne, Mark & Ricky Ainsworth.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Lewis Shoemaker of Morton; children, Michelle Knight of Illinois and Peyton Shoemaker of Morton; siblings, Rose Tubbs and Dennis Bell; grandchildren, Dustin McGee, Hannah & Hayley Knight; a host of other family members and friends.
