Joann Wiltcher

Joann Wiltcher, age 78, and a resident of Macon, GA died Thursday, February 17, 2022, following an extended illness.

Funeral services were held at 12pm, Monday, February 21, 2022, from the chapel of the OTT & LEE Funeral Home in Forest with visitation from 1oam till the service time.

She was born on November 11, 1943, in Pascagoula, MS to her parents, Major Woodrow Jobe and Velma Rita Patterson. Before her retirement, she had worked at Mississippi Care Center in Morton.  She loved life to its fullest, she never met a stranger.  She was a hard worker who believed in helping others and enjoyed visiting with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Joann was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her 4 children, Jackie Mosher (Lloyd) of Macon, GA, Doris Ellinburg Gaskin (Robert) of Warner Robins, GA. Clara Hester (Lamar Havard) of Sebastopol, MS, and Lisa Diane Derrick of Morton, MS.  She is also survived by a brother, Ricky Jobe (Wanda), 5 sisters, Jackie Bush, Alene Phelps, Carolyn Sanders, Bell Evans, and Doris Davis.  She also leaves behind a legacy of 14 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
