Joe Adams

Joe Wayland Adams, 77, passed away Sat. Feb. 27, 2021 at his home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Wed. March 3, 2021 from 2pm-5pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. A private family memorial service will follow.

Mr. Adams was born on Nov. 14, 1943 in Water Valley, MS to the late Joseph Adams and Lestine Laughlin Adams.

He is survived by his two daughters, Christie Slawson (Johnathan) and Jill Killebrew (Zack); son, Thomas Adams; brother, Bobby Adams (Marie); four grandchildren, Laken Hodges (Sarah), Zackery Livingston (Tanya), Hannah Arline and Kasen Slawson; seven great grandchildren, Rylan Hodges, Hayden Hodges, Lyndon Hodges, Luka Hodges, Justice Livingston, Riggins Livingston and Elliot Pate. He is also survived by his loving dog, Jasper. Mr. Adams was also preceded in death by his wife Catherine Adams.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
