Mr. Joe Tucker, age 87, a resident of Morton passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at MS Care Center in Morton. Visitation will be held 1pm-3pm Friday, March 7, 2025 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Chapel service will be held at 3pm Friday in the Ott and Lee Chapel in Morton. Graveside will follow at Morton Memorial Gardens.

He loved fishing, taking care of his flowers and was one of the best cooks ever. Joe loved his dogs and enjoyed watching them swim in the pond. He loved his family and will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his 1st wife, Mary Dale Burgess Tucker; 2nd wife, Alice Faye Scarberry Tucker; siblings, Carl "Bud" Tucker, Shine Tucker, Annie Moore, Arcola Watkins, Mary Williams and Iona Parkman.

He is survived by his children, Debbie Hall (Billy) of Forest, Dale Tucker (Betty) of Florence and Angie Simpson (Clay) of Morton; brother, William Tucker (Betty); 5 grandchildren, Lance Hall (Christa), Chance Hall (Rachel), Danielle Tucker, Kimberly Patterson (John Ryan) and Katie Simpson; 10 great grandchildren; his faithful furbabies he loved dearly, Bonnie and Rover.
