Joel Mallery

Joel Watson Mallery, age 80, a resident of Pearl, MS passed away Monday, December 27, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, December 31, 2021, at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS.

Mr. Mallery was born November 3, 1941, in Ida, LA to Sidney Mallery and Myrtis Hortman Mallery. He was married to Mary Ann Wheat Mallery. Mr. Mallery was in the banking industry many years before retiring. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Mr. Mallery was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Mallery and Myrtis Hortman Mallery.

Mr. Mallery is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Ann Wheat Mallery; sons, Eric Mallery and Greg (Laura) Mallery; grandchildren, Seth, Erin, and Sean Mallery; sister, Carolyn Jane Olive; 2 nieces and a host of friends.
