Jo Frances Cline Patrick, 73, passed away Mon. June 22, 2015 at her home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Tues. June 23, 2015 from 5pm-8pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS and on Wed. June 24, 2015 from 10am-11am at the Alta Woods Baptist Church in Jackson, MS. Funeral Services are 11am Wed. June 24, 2015 at the Alta Woods Baptist Church with a 1pm graveside service to follow in the Macedonia Cemetery in Mendenhall, MS.
Mrs. Patrick was born on Aug. 8, 1941 in Mendenhall, MS to the late Mansel and Christine Cline. She lived most of her life in South Jackson, MS and has been a resident of Brandon, MS since 2005. Mrs. Patrick was a member of the Alta Woods Baptist Church in Jackson, MS where she was also a faithful member of the church choir. Mrs. Patrick retired in 2005 after 23 years of service with the Hinds County Soil Conservation Service. Since her retirement in 2005 she has volunteered at the Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital where she received the Volunteer of the Year Award in 2010.
Mrs. Patrick is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Patrick Lawrence (Kenny) of Brandon, MS; son, Phillip Patrick (Elizabeth) of Madison, MS; sister, Evelyn Greenwood of Ridgeland, MS; brother, Gary Cline of Mendenhall, MS and two grandchildren, Hannah and Haley Lawrence of Brandon, MS. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hyram L. Patrick and a brother, Johnny Cline.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital at 2500 N. State St. Jackson, MS 39216 or the Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital at 848 Adams Ave, Memphis, TN 38103.
