John Henry Adams, 82, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 4, 2012 in Brandon, MS. Visitation is 2 – 4 pm Tuesday, March 6, 2012 and 9 – 9:45 am Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 10 am Wednesday from the Chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow at 2 pm in the Wintergreen Cemetery in Port Gibson, MS.
Mr. Adams was born on May 4, 1929 in Union Mississippi to the late Vernon E. and Mary G. Clack Adams. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a machinist for Mills Morris for 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Price Adams and a grandson, John Eric Adams.
Survivors include his son, Johnnie G. Adams and wife, Cheryl of Terry, MS; his grandchildren, Nathan Adams, Andrew Adams, Jacob Adams, Vivian Adams, and Sam Adams; and a sister, Vernie Lee Terrell of Union, MS.
