John Burnham Sr.

John Elston Burnham Sr., 84, passed away Sun. Dec. 30, 2018 at Brandon Nursing and Rehab Center in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Wed. Jan. 2, 2018 from 5pm-7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am on Thurs. Jan. 3, 2018 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Crossroads Cemetery in Pelahatchie, MS.

Mr. Burnham was born in Puckett, MS and has been a resident of Pearl, MS for the past 65 years. He was a member of Grandview Baptist Church in Pearl, MS. Mr. Burnham served his country for 3 years in the U.S. Army and retired from Knox Glass Company after 33 years of service. Mr. Burnham was a very loving family man and enjoyed helping people.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ethel Burnham; four children, John Elston Burnham Jr. (Debra), Martha Joan McDaniels (Danny), Allan David Burnham Sr. (Virginia) and Sara Dianne Speights; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephew and relatives. Mr. Burnham is preceded in death by his parents, Eurl and Emma Burnham; grandson, Pat Wells; sister, Audrey Maria and two brothers, Ernest and Kay Burnham.
