John Martin Carter, 46, passed away Wed. Aug. 9, 2017 at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Sat. Aug. 12, 2017 from 9am-10:45am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am on Sat. Aug. 12, 2017 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in Brandon Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Carter was born in Gulfport, MS and has been a resident of Brandon, MS since 2005. He was a member of Pinelake Church in Brandon, MS. Mr. Carter enjoyed watching movies and listening to music.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Carter; mother, Joylene Carter; four children, Courtney Carter Ingle (Jeremy), Brooke Hopkins, Colby Carter and Hunter Hopkins; a brother, Gerald Edwin Carter II and a grandchild, Taylor Scott Ingle. Mr. Carter is preceded in death by his father, Gerald Edwin Carter.
