John C. Hamilton Sr.

John C. Hamilton Sr. was born on February 10, 1949, to Cletus and Ethel Thornton Hamilton and passed away on December 9, 2024, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, MS. John was a man of unique character, and you knew where you stood with him. John worked as a truck driver for many years, after retirement he did some security work. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, but fishing was his passion.

Preceded in death by his parents, Cletus and Ethel Hamilton, and several siblings.

John is survived by his children, Cathy (Clay)Tullos, John (Melita) Hamilton Jr. Rose Mary (Clyde) Champion: two sisters, Becky May, Sammy Searcy, brother, Billy Hamilton: grandchildren, Amber Phillips, Kerri Hollinsworth, Dylan Hamilton, Sobrina Rushing, Hunter, Justin Jernnigen, Jonna Jernnigen; greatgrandchildren, Logan Phillips, Makayla Phillips.

By family request, there will be no Services.
