John “Bull” Harvey, 21, of Brandon, Mississippi, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014. He was born to John Carold Harvey and Wanda Davis Harvey.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents C.J. and Ruth Harvey and Charles and Daphine Davis.
He is survived by his parents; brothers Frederick Brandon Harvey, Temple Alexander Harvey, and William Carold Harvey; sisters Leigh Harvey Cochran (Jason), Haley Kathleen Harvey, and Erin Ruth Harvey; uncles Brian Keith Davis, Jesse David Harvey (Kim), and Michael Andrew Harvey (Fran); aunts Pamela Davis Hernandez (Alfredo), and Deena Davis Thompson.
John attended Brandon High School, where he graduated in 2011 with honors. He participated in the 2011 Mississippi High School All-Star Baseball game at Trustmark Park. After graduating, he attended Pearl River Community College and Holmes Community College, where he graduated as a Certified Electrical Lineman. He was a communicant and dedicated acolyte of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Brandon.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, June 27, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Brandon.
