John F. Kemp, Jr., 55, went to be with his Heavenly Father on April 14, 2017. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 10 am at Christ Congregational Church, Hwy 18, Brandon, MS. Arrangements were entrusted to Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.
John Kemp was an independent contract driver for KLLM. He was a loving husband, son, brother, and friend. He loved fishing, TV and joking with friends. He never met a stranger; everyone was a friend. He was preceded in death by his father, John F. Kemp, Sr. and Tammy L. Stephens, his sister.
He is survived by his wife, Carmen Cuevas Kemp; his mother, Myra McLendon Kemp; his brothers, Darrell “Pump” Kemp and Joseph Kemp; and his sisters, Dorothy Brown and Heather Breaux. He also leaves behind five nieces, five nephews, four great nieces and four great nephews. John was dearly loved and will be definitely missed by all.
