John Blondell Moore, 49, passed away Wed. July 2, 2014 at his home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held Thurs. July 3, 2014 from 1pm-2:45pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 3pm on Thurs. July 3, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at the Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS.
Mr. Moore was born in Forest, MS and lived most of his life in Brandon, MS where he was a member of the Brandon Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing golf and was an avid LSU fan. Mr. Moore also loved his dog Rascal who passed away 6 months ago.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Moore; two children, Jacob Austin Moore and Chance Moore; mother, Yvette Moore; brother, James Howell Moore (Pam); mother and father-in-law; Dixie and Herbert Simpson; two nieces, Kathleen Simpson and Meghen Martin (Steven); two nephews, J.C. and Branden Moore; great niece, Lennon Martin and a number of cousins and friends. Mr. Moore is preceded in death by his father, James A. Moore.
