BURIAL: LAKEWOOD MEMORIAL PARK IN JACKSON
VISITATION: 5-7 PM MONDAY AND 11 AM TUESDAY AT OTT AND LEE FUNERAL HOME IN BRANDON
John Robbins, 81, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the V. A. Nursing Home in Jackson. Visitation is 5-7 pm Monday, February 27, 2017 and 11 am Tuesday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services are 1 pm Tuesday at the funeral home with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park. Rev. Darrin Powell will officiate.
Mr. Robbins was a native of the Jackson area and a longtime resident of Rankin County. He was a graduate of the Colombia, TN Military Academy, Mississippi State University and the Jackson School of Law. Mr. Robbins practiced law in Rankin County for many years, served as County Attorney for several terms and was a retired Municipal Court Judge. He was a longtime member of the Rankin County Rotary Club and had served in the U. S. Army in the Korean War.
Survivors include his sons, John Hartwell Robbins, Palmer Eugene Robbins (Ada), Henderson Guenther Robbins, Montie Harmon Robbins; sister, Jane Robbins Kerr; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
