John James Thomas, Jr., 46, passed away at his home on Mon. Aug. 17, 2015. Visitation will be held on Thurs. Aug. 20, 2015 from 5pm-8pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Fri. Aug. 21, 2015 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS.
James was born in Jackson, MS and he was the son of John and Amy Thomas, and Wondra and Wayne King; the grandchild of Eunice and the late Maurice Thomas. He had a beautiful marriage of 17 years to Gail Thomas who was the love of his life. James was the loving father of 3 daughters, Kameron Thomas, Leah Thomas, and Jamie Thomas and 3 boys, Kolby Thomas, Kendrick Booker, and Jeremy Thomas. He has 6 siblings, Jimmy King, Tommy King, Kim Thomas, Jana Grissett, Clay Thomas, and Butch and Paula Cornalison. He was also the grandfather of Journey and Waverly Thomas.
James comes from a huge loving family and he was the owner of P&E Construction. James was the successful coach of the undefeated Richland Hawks Soccer Team in 2013. He attended The Point Church in Brandon, MS regularly and loved God. He was a hardworking man who loved many and was loved by even more. He will be missed very much.
