John Westerburg

John Mitchell Westerburg, 48, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at his home in Brandon, MS. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the First United Pentecostal Church in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held from 11am-12:45 pm at the First Untied Pentecostal Church in Brandon, MS.

Mr. Westerburg was a native of Monroe, LA. He is the son of John Dalton Westerburg and Ottie Middleton Westerburg. He worked many years in the Software Development Industry for Connect Technology. He was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Brandon, MS. He enjoyed Scuba Diving, Kung Fu and helping with the Boy Scouts Troop #416. He loved his family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Mr. Westerburg was preceded in death by his father, John Dalton Westerburg.

Mr. Westerburg is survived by his son, Rune Westerburg and Rune's mother, Mary Westerburg; mother, Ottie Westerburg; brothers, Wayne Lee (Tina) Anderson, Charles Edward Anderson, Gregory Alan (Cherry Kay) Anderson and John Irvin (Jamie) Anderson; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
