John Brandon Winfield, 33, passed away on November 5, 2015. Visitation will be 2-5pm Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Services will be 2pm Monday in the chapel of the funeral home with visitation starting at 1pm. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon.
Brandon graduated Brandon High School in 2000 and he served 10 years in the Air Guard. He served during Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. He loved to cook for family and friends and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Brandon loved his dog Sonny and had a special love for his nieces and nephew.
Survivors include his parents, John and Jerri Winfield of Brandon; sister, Ashley Winfield Dickerson (Jacob); brother, Christopher Lance Allen of Knoxville, TN; nieces Addison Delane Dickerson, Presley Anne Dickerson, Ila Marie Dickerson all of Brandon and Dusty Flowers of Downsville, LA; nephew Joseph Maxwell Allen Sheppard of Summit, MS; grandparents, Jean Blackwell of Brandon and James Leslie Ford of Meridian and several aunts, uncles and Cousins; he was preceded in death by his grandfather Tommie J. Winfield and grandmother, Rita Shannon.
