Mr. Johnie Ray Robinson, age 87, a resident of Morton passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Mississippi Care Center in Morton. Visitation was held 12-2pm Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral service was held 2pm Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Ott & Lee Chapel with burial in Morton City Cemetery. Bro. Earl Clark and Bro. Ted Weeks officated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Mr. Robinson was born in Scott County on August 19, 1928. He worked for Hydro Metals as a Mechanical Supervisor for many years. Mr. Johnie will be greatly missed by all that loved and knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James Alonzo Robinson and Bessie Bell Gordon Robinson; 6 siblings, Medric, Norwood and Jimmy Doxi Robinson, Emli Weeks, Mildred Champion and Bertha Abby Edwards.
He is survived by his nephew, James W. Edwards and wife Ann of Morton; a host of other nieces, nephews and many friends.
Pallbearers were Donavon Edwards, Johnie Kyle Edwards, Corbin Gregg, Michael Edwards, Joshua Edwards and Billy Monti.
