Mrs.Johnnie Faye McCrory, 86, a resident of Morton died March 29, 2011 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held 3-9 pm Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS. Funeral services will be 2 pm Friday at the funeral home with burial in the Hodge Hill Cemetery in Morton.Rev. Ricky Watkins of the Morton United Pentecostal Church will officiate. Rev. Kenneth Johnson of Faith Tabernacle Worship Center will officiate at the graveside.
Mrs. McCrory was a housewife.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lilly Goss, her husband, Oscar McCrory with whom she was married many years, two sons, Larry and Jerry McCrory, and one daughter, Sue Sessums.
Mrs. McCrory is survived by her son, Dwight McCrory (Pam) of Johns, MS; her daughter, Rhonda McCrory of Pearl, MS; three sisters, Dorothy VanDevender of Pearl, MS, Maxine Massey of Johns, MS, and JoAnn Ray (Tom) of Tuttle, OK; one brother, James Goss (Joan) of Pearls, MS; eight grandchildren, Pam McDavitt, Greg McCrory, Krista Thompson, Samantha Smith, Micheal McCrory, and Brandy McCrory; two step-grandchildren, Missy Addy and Nicky Miley; twelve great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be, Jason Thompson, Alex Thompson, Micheal McCrory, Greg McCrory, Nick McLendon, Kris Knight and Shannon Yount.
