Johnnie Wilkinson

Johnnie P. Wilkinson, age 93 of Pelahatchie, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Southwest Regional Center in McComb, MS.

Funeral services will be Monday, February 10, 2020 at 12:00pm at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Vic Bowman officiating. Visitation will start at 11:00am. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kenny Wilkinson, Kyle Cammack, Jon Parker, Curt Parker, Bracey Wilkinson, and Perry Huff.

Johnnie was born in Rankin County, MS on May30, 1926 to the late John Perry Wilkinson and Euna Mae Wilkinson.  He retired from Bausch and Lomb as an Optician, where he took great pride in his work.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy Wilkinson; siblings, Lavoy Wilkinson, Elton Wilkinson, Bill Wilkinson, and Willie Mae Walker.

Johnnie is survived by his children, Brenda Wilkinson Parker and Ken Wilkinson (Jane); sister, Jessie Dell Huff Burnham; grandchildren, Curt Parker (Sara), Jon Parker (Lauren), Kenny Wilkinson (Penny), and Jennifer Wilkinson Cammack (Kyle); eleven great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
